Responsible sourcing

These are the principles behind how we choose and treat the producers we work with. We do not publish the names of cooperatives or producers — discretion protects both their commercial position and our clients’ supply chains — but we are happy to describe how we work.

We vet in person

Every supplier we recommend or buy from is visited in person by our Casablanca operations team. We assess the production site, the product, and whether the supplier can hold a specification across repeat orders. A relationship does not begin from a catalogue alone.

We verify certifications at the source

We cross-check organic, origin, and food-safety certifications against the issuing body’s own registry — ECOCERT, USDA, Argan IGP, ONSSA — for expiry and scope, rather than relying on a copy on the wall.

We pay fairly and promptly

Sustainable supply depends on producers being paid fairly and on time. We structure engagements so that producers are paid for confirmed orders, and we do not speculate on harvest pricing or hold uncommitted inventory at producers’ risk.

We protect provenance

Lot traceability on every shipment, and our refusal to mislabel origin or grade, protect both the producer’s work and the buyer’s confidence. The Argan IGP and a signed Certificate of Analysis exist precisely so that genuine Moroccan product is not passed off or diluted.
