Atlas Sourcing Sprint
Fixed-price 14-day research for indie cosmetic founders. Three vetted suppliers, samples, FOB pricing, comparative report.
What we cover
Four ingredients, sourced where they grow best
The Sprint covers argan oil, prickly pear seed oil, ghassoul clay, and Damask rose water — in cosmetic and, where relevant, culinary grades. Adjacent oils such as sweet almond, sesame, black seed, and olive are available on request to Sprint clients.
Everything is sourced from our vetted producer network across Morocco’s primary ingredient regions. Specific producer identities are disclosed within the Sprint deliverable, never published here.
How it works
The Sprint, end to end
- 1
Day 1
Kick-off
You complete a short brief — ingredient, target volume, certification requirements, packaging preferences, launch timeline. The 50% deposit is invoiced on engagement.
- 2
Days 2–4
Supplier outreach
We contact five to eight candidate producers from our vetted Moroccan network and request catalogues, certifications, FOB pricing at multiple volume tiers, MOQs, and lead times.
- 3
Days 5–8
Site visits
Our operations team in Casablanca visits the shortlisted suppliers in person. We photograph the production area, verify certifications against the issuing registry, assess the product directly, and confirm private-label capability.
- 4
Days 9–11
Sample collection & shipping
We collect sealed samples with batch numbers and harvest dates and ship them to your address by DHL Express. For higher-tier scopes, one sample goes to a Casablanca lab for independent GC-FID verification.
- 5
Days 12–13
Report assembly
We build your report: supplier profiles, certifications, FOB pricing at three volume tiers, photo and video evidence, a one-page risk memo, and a comparative recommendation table.
- 6
Day 14
Walkthrough call
A 30-minute call where we take you through every supplier, answer your questions, and discuss next steps. The final 50% is invoiced on delivery of the report.
The deliverable
What lands on your desk
Every Sprint delivers the same structured report — depth and the number of suppliers scale with the tier, the format does not. Alongside the report you receive the physical samples, sealed and labelled with batch number and harvest date, shipped by DHL Express, insured and tracked, plus a recorded walkthrough call.
- Executive summary — what we did, who we would pick in your position, and the single biggest risk you need to know about.
- Supplier profiles — one per shortlisted supplier: identity, specification, certifications with copies attached, pricing at multiple volume tiers, MOQ, lead time, capacity, visit notes, photos, and video.
- Comparative summary — a side-by-side table across price, MOQ, certifications, lead time, and our overall score.
- Recommendation matrix — which supplier to choose if speed is the priority, if price is the priority, or if certifications are the priority.
- Risk memo — drought and supply outlook, adulteration risk and how each supplier addresses it, import notes for the ingredient, and the recommended next step.
- Appendices — full certification PDFs, photo gallery, video links, and lab results where lab verification is in scope.
Why Redstone
Why we built this service
Indie cosmetic brands sourcing from Morocco have had three options. Fly out yourself — roughly £4,000 to £6,000 and ten days of founder time, with no guarantee of finding the right supplier. Buy from a distributor at three to five times the Moroccan FOB price, losing the margin and the origin story. Or order from anonymous B2B listings with no way to verify certifications, sample real product, or speak to the producer.
We built the Sprint as a fourth option: a fixed-price service that removes the friction, risk, and time cost of Moroccan sourcing without compromising the quality of information or the directness of the supplier relationship. You get the insight you would get from flying out yourself, in two weeks, for a fraction of the cost.
The difference
What makes us different
- Our operations partner is based in Casablanca full-time. Every site visit is a real visit by a person with manufacturing experience — not a phone call or a desk exercise.
- We verify certifications on the registry, not just on the wall. ECOCERT, USDA, Argan IGP, ONSSA — we cross-check expiry and scope on the certifier’s own database.
- We hold no inventory and earn no commission on your subsequent orders. Our incentive is to recommend the right supplier for you. There is no kickback.
- We respect the relationship you build with the supplier. After the Sprint, you order direct. We are not in the middle.
- We cover four ingredient verticals, so we know the supply landscape in depth rather than in passing.
The fine print
What the Sprint isn’t
We sell information. We do not sell ingredients. That distinction is how we keep our incentives aligned with yours: after the report is delivered, you make your own purchasing decision and place your order directly with whichever supplier you choose.
- We do not earn commission on the orders you place after the Sprint.
- We do not handle customs, freight, or import paperwork for orders you place yourself — though we can introduce the freight forwarders and customs brokers we work with in Casablanca.
- We do not provide ongoing supplier account management — once we hand you the report, the relationship is yours.
- We do not provide finished-cosmetic regulatory work (CPSR, CPNP, SCPN) as part of the Sprint. That is a separate engagement.
- We do not guarantee suppliers’ ongoing performance — we report what we observed on the visit; harvest variability and certification renewals remain your due diligence.
Pricing
Three tiers, one fixed price
Sprint scope is structured into three tiers, scaled to your sourcing decision’s strategic weight. The tier and price are confirmed on the discovery call.
Every Sprint is billed in advance: 50% deposit at engagement, 50% on delivery of the report.

Frequently asked
Common questions
How much does the Atlas Sourcing Sprint cost?
Sprint engagements run from £750 to £2,500 depending on the number of suppliers covered, depth of verification, and turnaround. The specific tier is confirmed on a 20-minute discovery call before you commit.
How long does a Sprint take?
Between 10 and 21 business days depending on the tier. The standard Sprint runs 14 business days from kick-off to the walkthrough call.
What is in the report?
An executive summary, a profile of each shortlisted supplier with certifications and pricing, a side-by-side comparative table, a recommendation matrix, and a risk memo. Physical samples and a recorded walkthrough call come with it.
What happens after the Sprint — do you take a commission?
No. We sell information, not ingredients. After the report, you order directly from the supplier you choose. We earn no commission on those orders and hold no inventory.
Which ingredients can the Sprint cover?
Argan oil, prickly pear seed oil, ghassoul clay, and Damask rose water. Adjacent oils — sweet almond, sesame, black seed, and olive — are available on request to Sprint clients.
Do you verify certifications, or just list them?
We verify. We cross-check each certificate against the issuing registry — ECOCERT, USDA, Argan IGP, ONSSA — for expiry and scope, not just the copy on the wall.
What currency is the Sprint priced in, and how is it paid?
Sprint engagements are priced in GBP. Payment is 50% deposit at engagement and 50% on delivery of the report, by bank transfer or card.
Can I cancel?
Cancellation terms are set out in the engagement letter we share before you commit. Because each Sprint is fixed-scope work that begins as soon as supplier outreach starts, the deposit covers work already underway once the Sprint is live.
